The 19th Annual Winter Rod and Speed Show and Winter Swap Meet presented by Anderson Enterprises returns to the Linn County Fair and Expo Center in Albany on January 16-17 and will benefit FISH of Albany, a mid-valley food bank. Over 100 street rods, custom trucks, classics, roadsters, and race cars will be on display for the public to view up close. On Friday, is KLOO FM Night and the Friday Night Food Drive. On FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY bring a can of food for the food bank and get in for just 5.00 and Listen to the CLASSIC ROCK BAND THE CRUSH right on the show floor while you check out the hot rods! On Saturday, the show continues with a scale model car contest and scale auto extravaganza in the lobby. The first 50 adults each day recieve tickets to both Willamette Speedway or Woodbrun Dragstrip which will be randomly given away. Hubba, hubba, hubba, back by popular demand THE GIANT WINTER SWAP MEET on Saturday in the back building! OUTSTANDING VENDORS AND CONCESSIONS ARE ALL PART OF THE SHOW! Admission is only ten dollars and includes both the car show and the swap meet. Children under eight get in for free. Parking is free. This Year's Special Guests Coming to the 2026 Show! Joe Morrison   Meet "Nitro" Joe Morrison Coming all the way from New Jursey, Joe joins a whole host of past guests who have made it big in the sport as well as past drag racing legends. From Top Fuel to Alterds, to Top Alcohol Dragsters, to Nitro Funny Cars, Joe has driven them all. This past season, Joe drove the Paul Smith Racing Nitro Funny Car in NHRA competition. Joe will be at the show talking racing with fans and signing pictures. Meet Carley Brogren Carley, from the Seattle area brings her off the hook "Amelia" 1939 Lincoln Zephyr to the Winter Rod and Speed Show! This car was a Good Guys Custom Car of the Year Finalist! This incredible Zephyr was recently featured in the Seattle International Car Show and painted by the famous and maticulous Gene Winfield who sadly passed early in the year. On Saturday, there is a giant swap meet in the Santiam Building and in the front lobby there is a giant model car contest. Bring a completed model for the contest and get in the show for free!  Fifty Pairs of Passes to Woodburn or Willamette Given Away Each Day!!! Free the adults tickets to Woodburn Dragstrip or Willamette Speedway to the first 50 people throught the door on both days. Limit two. Passes will also be given away randomly throughout the event! Each year a very generous portion of the proceeds are donated at will to a 501C3 charity after expense are met while an additional amount is held back and used for seed money for the following year to cover deposits, promotions, printing, advertising, and some additional expenses to get the show off the ground. In addition, a Food Drive is held on the Friday Night of the event and annually collects over 1,000 lbs of nonperishable food is collected for FISH of Albany. Since 2022, FISH of Albany has been selected as the dhow's beneficiary. Your participation and understanding as a vendor, a car exhibitor or a spectator is very important to the success of this incredible charity.  Car selections:  While almost every car entered usually gets into the Winter Rod and Speed Show, we reserve the right to flag cars we believe are not yet up to par to be displayed in an indoor car show. In those cases the entry application and the entry fee will be mailed back to the car's owner.
